Our favourite german car manufacturer is celebrating these days the production of the 1,000,000th Audi A3 from the second generation. Together with the first generation, this brings the total number of Audi A3’s to 1.9 million.

The anniversary model had the colour Brilliant Red and it was bought by a costumer from Franconia, Germany. It was an Audi A3 Sportback, with a 2.0TDI engine and 140HP.

The production of the second generation Audi A3 started in 2003, and last year 230,849 of them were produced, out of which 68.9% were Sportback. 800 models are produced each day at the Ingolstadt factory.
